Water Resources Research is a prestigious journal. According to Scopus is WRR in the 95th percentile of journals within Water Science and Technology. WRR is ranked at the highest level in Denmark (level 2) and Finland (level 3). WRR has higher measures in Prod (NO), Prod (V), and Sittert than other level 2 journals in the scientific field "Bygg og kontruksjonsteknikk" I personally think this journal is wrongly classified, and should rather be classified in "Geofag" . WRR was a level 2 journal as recent as 2016, and my professional opinion is that this journal should be reinstated as a level 2 journal.
