Login to commentI reckon that the editors pay now more attention to quality of data after the reports of plagiarism and have successfully addressed the publications with this problems by retraction of the faulty articles. I think therefore that the level 0 is undeserved and recommend to reconsider for level 1.
The journal was at the so-called level X before we downgraded it to level 0. The norm is that we will not reconsider the journals that have been degraded to level 0 after a time at level X, before two years has passed. This is because we then have done a
profoundly evaluation of the journal, together with the research community/the scientific panels.

Tidsskriftet har riktignok i den senere tid gjennomført enkelte annuleringer av artikler, men en stor andel blir ikke fulgt opp og de har også publisert rettelser av artikler som er helt åpenbare forfalskninger (eksmpler kan ses i vedlagte link fra PubPeer).
En uvanlig stor andel av artiklene har tilknytning til Kina, noe som i seg selv er grunn til bekymring. Videre var det dette tidsskriftet som ble identifisert inneholdt fleste data duplikasjoner (Elisaberth Bik et al., 2016; mBio, doi: 10.1128/mBio.00809-16 ).
Tidsskriftet ble i sin tid identifisert som et såkalt røvertidsskrift (potential predatory scholarly open-access journals),
Jeg anbefaler at Int J Oncology ikke lenger listes som et nivå 0 eller 1 tidsskrift.
