I propose to promote the journal of Analysis and Mathematical Physics (AAMP) to level 2. The journal cross-fertilizes mathematics and physics with great benefits to both. It was established in 2011 and in 10 years it developed into one of the leading journals in the field of mathematics.

Here I will give some journal metrics

IF 2,065 (compare with 1.381 in 2017);

CiteScore 1.9 (compare with 1.2 in 2017);

h5 index 14 (compare with 11 in 2017);

Number of submitted papers in 2020: 396 (compare with 224 in 2017)
The rate of admission for publication is less that 20%

Ranking with the categories in IF (impact factor) in the category "Mathematics", AAMP occupies place 22 among 325 journals; In the category "Mathematics, Applied", AAMP occupies place 40 among 261 journals. In the category "Mathematics", AAMP stays above such journals as "International Journal of Mathematics", "International Mathematical Research", "Journal of Geometric Analysis" and many others, which belong to the level 2 in Norway

The journal went to the Transformative Agreements that enable participating institutions to combine journal subscription access along with Open Acsess publication costs. 

All in all, AAMP is an actively developing journal, where the submissions undergo a serious referee process with a minimum of 2 referees. The editorial board consists of high-level, internationally recognized sciences. The publishing house is one of the biggest, serious, promoting the open access publishing policy, having the agreements on OA with the Norwegian Universities.



I would suggest to upgrade this journal to Nivå 2.
This is a new journal founded by a faculty member of a Norwegian university (Prof. Alexander Vasil’ev, Universitetet i Bergen).
The foundation year is 2011. Recently, this journal has undergone drastic development.
This is reflected in doubled the Impact Factor (IF), which reached 1.381 in 2017.
Knowing Prof. Dmitry Khavinson (University of South Florida) who is the current Editor in Chief and looking at the names in the Editorial Board (https://www.springer.com/birkhauser/mathematics/journal/13324?detailsPage=editorialBoard),
I would have no doubt that this is the result of raising requirements for the quality of papers accepted for publication (and not of “IF pumping techniques”).
Furthermore, Norway is well-represented in the Editorial Board – 3 members are from Norwegian Universities (én fra NTNU og to fra UiB).
