Error on the search function

At the moment you might experience that you do not get the correct match when you search for a journal, even though the journal is registered in the Norwegian Register. The search should function as normal again tomorrow, 12.02.26.. For the time being, you can find journals by going to the publisher's information page in the Norwegian Register and look at associated journals, or download current list.

The purpose of the Reference Group

The purpose of the Reference Group for the Norwegian Register is to get feedback on what kind of features, metadata and information the research community and other users of the Norwegian Register wish to find.

The Reference Group can also come with advice to where we can collect good information to secure the data quality in the Norwegian Register.

At last, when we do major changes in the Norwegian Register, the changes can have consequences that we have not thought about. With the Reference Group we will have someone that can look at possible consequences with an external glance.

Two-way dialogue

Another purpose with establishing the Reference Group is that the Reference Group unsolicited also can come with feedback to the Norwegian Register. The feedback can be from the members of the Reference Group, or the members can bring feedback from the research sector.

Members

The members have, among other things, competence within open research and diamond publishing, research support and bibliometrics.

Today the Reference Group for the Norwegian Register consists of

  • Caroline Susanne Armitage at the University of Bergen Library, University of Bergen.
  • Eli Heldaas Seland at the University of Bergen Library, University of Bergen.
  • Johanna Skaug at the University of Oslo Library, University of Oslo.
  • Linda Johnsen at the Stavanger University Library, University of Stavanger.

If you have feedback to the Norwegian Register, you are welcome to contact us at e-mail. You can also contact the members of the Reference Group.
