Decision meeting 19.January 2024

On the decision meeting 19.January, we assessed suggestions for new publication channels at level 1. We did also reconsider some publication channels that already had been approved as scientific publication channels.

For the decision meeting, the Directorate has assessed

• 496 publication channels.

Of the 496 publication channels that the Directorate processed and assessed, 49 publication channels were specifically discussed with the Working Committee (AU) for the National Board of Scholarly Publishing:

• 1 complaints (complaints about previous decisions on level).
• 27 messages of concerns (concerns about the quality of already approved publication channels).
• 58 follow-up cases (publication channels that we did not decide a level for at the previous decision meeting and that AU is responsible for following up.)
• 12 special cases (suggestions about publication channels where the Directorate is unsure about the quality of the publication channels).
• 56 publication channels under discussion (level X).
• 7 publication channels that resubmitted after they were downgraded to level 0 as a result of the National Board of Scholarly Publication's "cleaning" of the Norwegian Register.
• 5 Norwegian publication channels (suggestions about Norwegian publicationc channels, which at the request of the AU are a fixed point at the decision meetings).
• 30 suggestions from Danish scholars.
