Dette er et meget dårlig tegn og jeg håper HK-dir følger opp. Håpet mitt er at HK-dir og kanalregisteret i fremtiden vil være førende, og raskere med å fjerne useriøse tidsskrifter. Problemet med useriøse tidsskrifter og forlag er et økende problem og det er behov for mer effektive virkemidler for å stanse feilinformasjon innen vitenskapelige publisering.

Videre er det tydelig at redaksjonen aksepterer at forfattere ikke trenger å gjøre data fra publiserte artikler tilgjengelige. Det er flere eksempler på at publiserte artikler har følgende frase under "Data availability": "No data were used to support the findings of the study. "
