Cancer Gene Therapy har en uvanlig stor andel av publiserte artikler med tilknytning til Kina, noe som i seg selv er grunn til bekymring. Vi har identifisert en rekke klare forfalskninger i publiserte artikler, og tidsskriftet viser liten vilje til å følge opp disse. Vi har flere eksempler på at artikler som inneholder manipulerte data, blir korrigert. Dvs. redaksjonen aksepterer tydeligvis manipulering av data.
