Login to commentI am the Publications Coordinator working with the ALARA Committees Group. I have been asked to follow up on our progress with indexing. We were not aware that the Norwegian index had our information. This is good news. However it seems there is information lacking. We have a scientific editorial board whose names we can send you. We are not sure what Unknown Authorship means - we have been publishing two journals a year since 1994 including novice and internationally renowned action researchers. Can you please advise me how we can redress this issue? Can you also please explain "unregistered confirmed ISSN"? This does not seem to make sense. Does our information need to be updated to gain accreditation?
The journal was once submitted to the Norwegian Register, but not approved.
The Norwegian Register is based on what (Norwegian) scholars suggest, as publishing in an approved publication channel can yield publication points which in turns will result in money to the authors (Norwegian) institution.
To gain accreditation you most submit the journal, but I can see that you already have done that. The submissin will be treated at the decision meeting in June.
"Unknown authorship" means that we did not receive documentation on the authors affiliations. We need the authors affiliations to decide if the authorship is national or international, and not local.
"Unregistered confirmed ISSN" is due a new function which we did not have before. It means that we have not updated the status to be either valid (confirmed by the International ISSN-register) or not valid.
However, all this information seems to be allright with the new submission.
Kind regards,
Lena-Cecilie Linge
