Scientific level placements and Norwegian HEIs publication points

Level X decision: The National Board of Scholarly Publishing (NBSP) received reports of concern from Norwegian researchers on multiple aspects of the journal, including that the journal has a very broad scope. The journal was, by the time of evaluation, published by a publisher that appeared on several different lists of predatory publishers. NBSP consulted The National Board of Scholarly Publishing in the Social Sciences and decided to add the journal to the level x list. The journal did not receive any comments from the research community over a period of 6 months and NBSP concluded to not approve the journal for level 1 in their meeting the 14th of January 2022.
