Logg inn for å kommentereTo be at level 2 the scientific panel must nominate the journal for level 2. Individual scholars can through professional comments suggest that a journal should be at level 2, which the scientific panels can take into consideration.
This journal has been suggested to level 2 before, but due to a reorganization of the scientific panels within natural sciences and engineering, there has not been any nomination for level 2 the last two year.
As far as I know, the new organization of the scientific fields within natural sciences and engineering will be ready for the nomination this year. You can therefore add a new comment, but mark off for professional comment this time, and write your arguments for lifting the journal to level 2. The scientific panel will then be able to see your comment.
The nomination process begins at the end of this month, so you should add the comment as soon as possible. Note that level 2 has a delay in two years, so the results from this year will first apply in 2024.
