Login to commentThe decision to relegate IJMCL from "Level 2" to "Level 1" in 2019 was not based on scientific quality factors which must be the only ones relevant for such a decision. I would therefore urge the Legal committee to reconsider that decision, and to return the IJMCL to "Level 2", which is the level appropriate to this top peer-reviewed journal in the international law of the sea field - and was as such firmly established from 2009 until 2019.
