Login to commentNote that the Journal of Computer Languages (COLA) is not a new Journal (The latest Volume is the 75)but the merger of two old journals Computer Languages, Systems and Structures(Still alloted level 1 for 2023), and the Journal of Visual Languages and Computing since Feb 2019, but till the COLA is not been indexed in NORWEGIAN REGISTER FOR SCIENTIFIC JOURNALS, SERIES, AND PUBLISHERS.
Journals, series and publishers must be submitted to the Norwegian Register for Scientific Journals, Series and Publishers if they are going to be indexed.
Continuations of ceased journals must be registered as independent journals, because the ISSN is unique for each title/journal. In general, continuations will inherit the predecessor, but only if the criteria for level 1 still are fulfilled.
We have registered Journal of Computer Languages (COLA). It is on our list for the decision meeting in June. At the moment we have suggested "not approved" because we can't find a description about the peer review (how do the editors handle submitted manuscripts, is the peer review external, how many reviewers are involved, how long time etc.).
If you have information about the peer review process in the journal, you are welcome to send it in to us.
Kind regards,
Lena-Cecilie Linge
